Played a lot more of Endfield today. I'm just about to enter the third major area. Spent a lot more time than I thought on base building (which works more like Factorio/Satisfactory instead of the XCOM reboot style base in Arknights). Don't have a permanent setup yet but I'm really enjoying what I'm seeing so far. Honestly the thing that's made me the most excited is buckflower/citrome production. The way it works is that there's a seed picker facility and a planting facility. The planting facility turns 1 seed into 1 plant. But the seed picker facility turns one plant into two seeds and one "plant material", a waste product that can be turned into carbon at a worse rate than the plants. Meaning the optimal setup is looping one of the planter's output lanes back into the seed picker. This is genuinely the sort of advanced setup that I'd expect to see in a Factorio mod (or late game Factorio I guess, but fuck oil cracking), they really know what they're doing. Now if only placing down belts wasn't a chore, though that's something that could be helped by being able to increase the mouse sensitivity.

Nothing else really happened today. I'm not looking forward to work, spending more time in maintainence. Plus I'm working tomorrow/Sunday/Tuesday which is just a bit rough. I'm working a lot of weekends coming up tbh, it kinda sucks.
